This "turn-key" project included the Design, Field Inspection, Procurement and Construction Management of a new cement terminal at Carúpano for Silos Caribe C.A. An existing ferry terminal has been modified and upgraded with flexible berthing and mooring dolphins that secure the ships alongside a 300 square meters concrete platform. Cement in bulk is discharged and delivered, trough a conveyor belt, to 4 steel silos. Bagging (1,400 bags/hour) and bulk dispatch facilities are available. Other facilities include an electric substation ( 750 KVA), water distribution system, trucks weighting, office building, lighting. |
