LGN & Petrochemical Marine Terminal for S.A. MENEVEN

The design of a new LGN Marine Terminal included:

  • A loading platform (2,000 square meters), supported on prestessed concrete piles, with two berths: the western berth for gas carriers and tankers up to 45,000 DWT and the eastern berth up to 45,000 DWT petrochemical ships. The platform is equipped with two control rooms.
  • Breasting and mooring dolphins, on steel piles, and quick release hooks.
  • An 1,913 m long access bridge connecting the loading platform with mainland. The bridge, featuring two pipe racks and a roadway, is supported on prestessed cocrete piles.
  • Design and specifications for gas, metanol, MTEB and gasoline pipelines and loading arms. Power supply, lighting, compressed air and nitrogen supply, surge relief tanks, water supply, slops collection.
  • Processes supervision and control instrumentation, communications.
  • Fire detection and fighting systems
